Garden Plow Party

🌿 *PLOV Party and Live-Cooking in the Garden Kitchen — Tasty Season Opening! * Join us as we kick start the 2025 summer season in the garden kitchen! We invite you to the PLOV Party -- the party where the heart of the experience is our plov, Central Asian paella cooked over an open fire. We cook plov on locally raised lamb meat from Vallentuna. Vegetarian options will be available The party is suitable for both young and old, for children under 12 years old there are additional tickets. Drop-in is valid and the party runs from 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Plov will be available from 14.30 and the live-cooking class of PLOV starts at 17.00. Also, this will be our season premiere -- we're opening the doors to flavorful summer filled with courses. Come and feel the atmosphere, meet us who are holding the courses and get a taste of what we have to offer this summer. Prep without Depp! * Fermentation is not only delicious — it's also a smart, sustainable and joyful way to prep your kitchen with flavours that last for months. In this course, you'll learn how to create leavened vegetables, side dishes, sauces and condiments that elevate everything from the everyday dinner to the festive table. You'll learn the basics of lactic souring, pickling and vinegar fermentation, and experiment with flavour combinations, storage and fermentation safety. You go home with a little bubbling flavor library. We also explore how fermentation reduces food waste ♻️ and increases food enjoyment in everyday life. Layout We start the day in the garden kitchen with a lunch based on locally produced, grilled tempeh and vegetables from the local area. During lunch, we taste various fermented side dishes and talk about how fermentation can become a natural part of everyday life. After an inspirational lecture on basics, technology and taste, we begin to work practically. You get to create your own fermentations to bring home. *For whom? * For beginners and curious home cooks — no prior knowledge required. The course is 100% herbal. 🌿

* 🍕 Welcome to the course in pizza and the Georgian cheese bread favorite khachapuri 🧀 — both baked with Swedish cultural cereals 🌾 and long yeast sourdough. We bake in our wood-burning oven 🔥 in the garden kitchen in Spillerboda 🌿 . * We go through different types of old cereals — cultural cereals 🌾 — and why they are a wise choice for both body 💪 and soil 🌍 . \ You will also learn about how sourdough fermentation works and what happens in the dough when it is allowed to take its time. During the course we get to make our own dough 👩‍🍳 and bake sourdough pizza 🍕 and khachapuri 🧀 — a cheese filled bread from Georgia 🇬🇪 that is harder to pronounce than to eat 😋. Grill & Smoke — Learn how to grill and smoke like a pro

Welcome to a full day outdoors filled with delicious food, scents and lovely atmosphere! \ This course is for those who want to learn more about how to grill and smoke meat and fish for real. We combine theory with a lot of practical work. You will learn how heat and smoke give food its special character. We talk about different techniques, such as hot smoking and cold smoking, how to prepare food in the best way — from rhyming (salting in) and marinating to flavoring with the forest's own spices.You will also learn more about which wood and which charcoal give the best flavor. During the course we will go through: • Difference between hot smoking, cold smoking and grilling • How to prepare raw materials: rhyming, marinating and seasoning • Smoking times, glaze and spice tricks • Firewood, charcoal and how to use the forest's own spice pantry • Equipment tips and inspiration for your own barbecue kitchen We end the day with a joint dinner, where we collect everything we've cooked and serve up a lovely buffet with tasty accessories and drinks to match the food.
